Work is continuing on the 3rd floor bathroom, they added the shower pan today and are going to be working on the wet bed soon.
Special thanks to Dick Johnson for an awesome cast iron drafting table base. It's fully functional and we're debating the possibilities of how to incorporate it into our decor. Thoughts and suggestions are welcomed in the comments section!
A full crew will be in tomorrow at 7AM. We are off to my heaven on earth (Hershey Spa) for a day of rest & relaxation!
Bueno! Stairs are probably a big relief. That desk base is awesome! Does he have any more? Assuming your drafting days are done, you could use it to display some art (sim to Miller's setup)or a sweet large scale section of the new build out. Or a dining room table base? Thinking a big reclaimed piece of lumber for the table top.
ReplyDeletePaint color?

i'd go with a matte black...maybe satin
ReplyDeletealso, stairs look good.
i'd have to agree, drafting table = dining table.
Just going to poly the stair's steel, it should darken it up but keep some of the markings.
ReplyDeleteAny support for the drafting table color to be a bit funky? Fire engine red, lime, hot pink...
